Somebody filmed a dog through a glass block window.
The glass did the rest. Every block shows one soft color, so a normal good boy turned into a perfect little sprite: tan pixels for the head, white pixels for the chest, two dark pixels that are definitely looking at you.
He looked around, came closer and stared straight into the lens. The internet saw a dog rendered at the lowest settings and gave him a name.
